FFL Transfer Policies

To arrange for the transfer of a firearm please contact us by email at:   303Guns@Gmail.com
To have  a firearm shipped to Westminster Arms, please provide your complete contact information, the make and model of the firearm and the complete contact information for the shipping FFL holder. After we receive this information we will send a copy of our FFL to the shipping FFL holder. We do accept transfers from non-licensees under very specific guidelines, and we must be contacted prior to the transfer to line out that process to the sender(s). We will contact you once we have the firearm(s) inspected and logged in, and are ready for you to pick up. Most firearms will be ready for pick-up on the day that we receive them. In some instances, firearms may take longer than normal to inspect, log and make ready for pick up. Transfer fees are $35 for the first item, and an additional $15 for every item thereafter. This price includes the $6 CBI background check fee.

Shipping your Firearms

To ship your firearm to another FFL holder, please contact us for a shipping estimate. Firearms will need to be properly packaged prior to shipment, or additional costs to cover packaging will be incurred. All firearms will be inspected and the serial number recorded prior to shipping. Packaging costs and shipping charges, are not included in the transfer fee(s), and ALL shipments will incur a $50 minimum charge for packaging time and material(s), per box/ container. The shipping costs charged by the carrier, are in addition to the charge for packaging, and making ready for shipment.

Policies

Due to the recent changes in Colorado law, we are unable to sell or transfer any magazines with a capacity greater than 15 rounds. While the firearms are still legal within Colorado, any magazines over 15 rounds shipped with the firearm are not. Due to the way the laws were written, this unfortunately includes Law enforcement personnel. The only exception is if the officer’s agency has provided a letter on their letterhead. The law does allow for individual law enforcement officers to possess the magazines, but only for law enforcement agencies to purchase them. It is strongly recommended that any law enforcement officers make arrangements with the shipper to have non-conforming magazines sent to the agency’s armorer, or other authorized representative. The prices advertised are assuming that the client will be using cash or debit cards. Credit cards do not get the 3% cash discounted pricing.
